Breathe Nature

It is the region of the great rivers, the Humid Tropics, red soil and virgin forest covered by giant trees, with extraordinary flora and fauna. Great waters -Iguazú in guarani language- that nature gloriously overflows in one of the Wonders of the World: The Iguazu Falls. An exuberant beauty scenario that spreads over the Iguazu National Park, Saltos del Moconá (Moconá Falls), the Río Pilcomayo National Park, the El Palmar National Park, Esteros del Iberá (Iberá Swamps) or the Chaco plains. Apotheosis of nature, where the Jesuit ruins, declared World Heritage by the UNESCO, are the living testimony of the prolific world of the Society of Jesus.

Travel in Time

The Northern provinces feature Pre-Columbian remnants, interspersed with ruins of forts, indigenous villages and constructions of the Conquest and Colonization. Time seems to have stopped in the high plateau of the Puna; land surrounded by mountain ranges, narrow passes and gorges. Villages were set up on the small valleys. They are surrounded by hills, multi-colored and monochromatic, with slopes covered by huge cactuses. This region allows us to experience a scenery full of contrasts, from high summits to plains, with salt flats and subtropical forests, where the Latin American culture became rooted.

Visit The Land of Wine

Cuyo - "country of desserts" in indigenous language - is the region of high peaks, snow-covered volcanoes and vast crossings spreading from the Andes and the pre-mountain ranges to the steppe plain. A visit to the Ischigualasto Natural Park - Talampaya (World Heritage) - offers a true journey to the time of dinosaurs. Ischigualasto, also called the "Valley of the Moon" due to the amazing forms and colors of the landscape shaped by erosion, is one the most important paleontological sites of the world. The Talampaya River Canyon reveals amazing multi-shaped layers of its high red walls. Pink flamingos, crested ducks, vicuñas and guanacos live together freely in parks and natural reserves, under the stealth flight of condors.

The Peace of the Sierras

Córdoba is one of the most important economic centers of the country: it is both cultural and touristic, traditional and modern, ant it has industrial and home made production. The province of Cordoba is characterized by a hills landscape and moderate climate, and it alternates natural sceneries with colonial architectonic monuments. Small villages, historical relics and cave paintings are combined in a smooth landscape of valleys, high plains and gorges. To the North of the plains, the Córdoba hills rise, which belong to the "Sierras Pampeanas" system, which reaches 2,790 meters high at the Champaquí hill. Its fertile valleys, desserts and salt mines provide the region with a special appeal. Along the road to the North, you will find many 17th and 18th century chapels and estates inherited from the Jesuits.
